I hereby again just before Christmas. Since last week, the Jugendzetren are closed, because it is now summer vacation!! The last few days was like work place without the children. This meant for us, tidying up, cleaning, etiketieren all things. For me also still godchildren letters translated. Working with children makes it a bit more fun, but yes belongs to all:)
Last week we had in any youth center, a small Christmas party. It was sad saying goodbye to the children and although I only 3 months 'm here. Marcus pulls a boy now in another city and will no longer participate in our program after the holidays. I think it's a shame because it is already dear to my heart. is already so long ago that the last time I wrote something. And, because there was to do just as much the last few weeks. Last week Saturday a celebration, because we have the support of a new computer company and a freshly painted computer room. This company also provides computer teacher, and since that Week there are computer courses. Last Saturday was the opening ceremony, and on this my first appearance, in which I played flute with the children. Chaotic as it is always a little bit, no one really knew what songs we should play, but everything went great.

Saturday afternoon then took place the great dress rehearsal for a concert of all children in the University Center II. The concert will take place this evening and I will support the children with my "great" flute. Although I play only 2 songs with but still: P Because of this concert are all very excited, but really the kids at least. The music teacher was an extra this week at the hairdresser ne and now has a new hairstyle. So wait and see ... then I will report as it was.

The main attraction this week was the "Nago Caravana" an action of the "Movimento Negro de Rondonópolis" (lit. Negro Movement). Caravana these aims: the preservation of Afro-Brazilian culture and will also draw attention to the still-present racism in Brazil. Every day the people of the "Movimento Negro" with a bus driving through the city and have made at a different location dependent.
